Jewel tones, strong geometric patterns, and a touch of historically inspired shapes and textures are the basics for any moody, 1920s-inspired Art Deco bathroom. To create the full effect, start by installing the wall tile on the full height of the walls throughout the space to allow for the full effect of a beautifully patterned jewel-toned tile to envelop the space. A dark geometric floor tile adds visual weight to the space against a strong wall colour, but if it is too much, then try mixing white geometric floor tiles amongst the black tiles to create patterns and added visual interest. For an added touch of elegance, try adding a wood toilet seat for ample texture.
